Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 15 – Cambodia reported 344 new cases of COVID19, while 39 patients recovered on Wednesday, according to the Ministry of Health's press release dated 15 April 2021 (updated as of 1:00 p.m).

Four newly infected patients are a 26-year-old, a 42-year-old, a 37-year-old, and a 19-year-old Indonesian men returning from Indonesia through Singapore’s flight to Cambodia on 13 April 2021.

Another patient is a 29-year-old Cambodian migrant worker returning from Thailand to Cambodia on 7 April 2021.

The other 339 are patients involved in February 20 community event. They are Cambodian and Chinese nationals from Kratie, Takeo, Siem Reap, Kandal, Koh Kong, Sihanoukville, Svay Rieng, and Phnom Penh.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 5218 cases of COVID19 with 2319 recoveries and 36 deaths.
