Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 28 – Cambodia reported 39 new cases of COVID19 on Sunday, according to the Ministry of Health's press release dated 28 February 2021 (updated as of 7:00 a.m).

Four newly infected patients are Cambodian male peacekeepers of the United Nations aged between 31 and 39 years old returning from Africa through India's flight to Cambodia on 21 February 2021.

The other 35 are patients involved in February 20 community event. They are Cambodian, Chinese, and Vietnamese nationals from Sihanoukville and Phnom Penh aged between 23 and 51 years old.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 805 cases of COVID19 with 477 recoveries and no death.
