Kandal (FN), Dec. 29 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen announced that the revenues generated from selling Cambodia's first oil production will be used in education and health sectors, addressing a special message lived from his home office on Tuesday morning.

The premier added that Cambodia's oil extraction in Block A has nothing to do with Thailand. The extraction site sits at 300 kilometers away from Thailand, while only 100 kilometers from Cambodia’s Sihanoukville.

Cambodia's first oil drop is produced from the A-0ID well of Platform A in the Gulf of Cambodia on 29 December 2020 by Singapore’s oil and gas exploration company KrisEnergy. Today also marks the 22nd anniversary of Prime Minister Hun Sen’s win-win policy, a compass that completely ended the civil war nationwide that brings absolute peace and stability to the Kingdom until these days.
