Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 29 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said that based on Senegal's Le Bureau de Prospective Economique, Cambodia now ranks the first in the world with the best COVID19 situation management.

According to Senegal's Le Bureau de Prospective Economique dated 20 December 2020, Cambodia ranked first in the world followed by South Sudan and Brunei. Countries at the bottom ranks are South Africa, Lithuania, Spain and Greece.

The assessment report on the COVID19 Severity Index released by the Senegalese Economic Vision Office is based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO).

Today, the premier announced to close "Community 28 November" event, speaking in a special message lived from his home office.

Premier Hun Sen commended the Ministry of Health, medical doctors, the armed forces and the people who actively participated in preventing COVID19 from spreading.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 364 cases of COVID19 (41 community cases), 360 recoveries and no death.
