Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 1 – Cambodian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhonn presided over and delivered opening remarks at the Policy Dialogue Forum on “Cambodia's Lessons Learnt and Shared Experiences in Response to COVID-19”.

The forum was held Wednesday at the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations, Cambodia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In the round table discussion session 1 on “COVID-19 Pandemic – Public health challenge of the 21st century”, panelists include Dr. Chhem Kieth Rethy, Minister Attached to the Prime; Dr. Or Vandine, Secretary of State, Ministry of Health; Dr. Li Ailan, WHO Representative to Cambodia.

Regarding the round table discussion session 2 on “Government’s Intervention to Contain the Pandemic and the New Normal”, panelists include Dr. Mey Kalyan, Chair of CDRI Board of Directors, SNEC Senior Advisor; Dr. Laurence Baril, Director of the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge; and Dr. Chheng Kimlong, Second Vice President and Director of Centre for Governance Innovation and Democracy, AVI.

Both sessions were moderated by Dr. Sok Siphana, Senior Advisor to the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Founder and Chairman of Asian Vision Institute.
