Phnom Penh (FN), May 23 – Cambodia reported one new case of Covid-19 on Saturday, according to the Ministry of Health’s press release dated 23 May 2020 (updated as of 6:30 a.m).

The 124th Covid-19 case was found on a 39-year-old Cambodian woman living in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district.

The woman returned home from the United States through the Republic of Korea on 8 May 2020. The woman was first tested on 12 May 2020 but found negative. She was placed in another 14-day quarantine. Her second test on 22 May confirmed that she was positive with Covid-19.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 124 cases of Covid-19. So far, 122 have recovered.
