Phnom Penh (FN), May 15 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen presided over a plenary session of the Council of Ministers, held at the Peace Palace on Friday morning.

The Council of Ministers have adopted (1) Draft Law on Anti-Financing of Proliferations of Weapon of Mass Destruction and (2) Draft Law on Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing, according to Government Spokesperson Phay Siphan.

The meeting also discussed (3) Draft Law on Mutual Assistance on Criminal Justice; and requests for ratification from the legislature:

(4.1) Agreement on the Elimination of Double Tax and Income Tax and the Prevention of Tax Evasion and Tax Avoidance between Cambodia and Malaysia;

(4.2) Agreement on the Elimination of Double Tax and Income Tax and the Prevention of Tax Evasion and Tax Avoidance between Cambodia and the Republic of Korea; and

(4.3) Cambodia as a signatory to 1886 Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works and the 1979 Amendments.
