Seoul, South Korea (FN), May 2 – One Cambodian student was tested positive of Covid-19 in Seoul, South Korea, where she caught a connecting flight from the United Kingdom to Cambodia on 26 April 2020.

Long Dimanche, Cambodian ambassador to South Korea told Fresh News on Saturday that the 21-year-old female student caught a cold since she was in UK and was ordered by her family to come home.

The patient is being hospitalised at a hospital in Seoul. The student’s health is in good condition, and will be allowed to travel to Cambodia as soon as she recovers.

According to the Worldometers, as of 2 May 2020, at least 177,454 were infected and 27,510 died in UK; while 10,780 infected and 250 died in South Korea.

Cambodia reported no new case of Covid-19 on 2 May 2020. To date, 120, or 98.3 percent, out of the 122 Covid-19 positive patients in Cambodia have recovered.
