Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 23 – A team of seven specialist doctors and medical equipment from China have landed in Phnom Penh on Monday morning ready to help tackle Covid-19.

Mam Bunheng, Minister of Health and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wentian welcomed the delegation of Chinese medical professionals at the Phnom Penh International Airport.

The medical equipments include: 7,000 gloves, 58,000 surgical masks, 55,000 medical masks, 5,000 N95 masks, 1,250 safety clothes for health officers, 29,889 medical covers, 50 infrared thermometers, and 11,280 safety glasses.

Cambodia has reported 86 cases of Covid-19, according to the Ministry of Health’s spokesperson Ly Sovann on 23 March 2020 (updated as of 11 a.m).
