Phnom Penh (FN), Sept. 18 – Within the first seven month of 2019, Cambodia-US trade volume has reached over USD 3 billion, an increase of 29 percent compared to the same period in 2018, which was USD 2.3 billion.

According to US Department of Commerce’s report on Wednesday, from January to July 2019, Cambodia-US trade volume was worth of USD 3 billion. Cambodia exported USD 2.7 billion to the US, and imported USD 307 million from the US.

Cambodia-US bilateral trade has increased from USD 2.3 billion in 2016 to USD 2.6 billion in 2017, and USD 3.4 billion in 2018 respectively.

Most of Cambodian products exported to the US include clothing, traveling goods, bicycles, while the USA’s exports to Cambodia include machinery, automobiles, jewellery, cosmetics, and electrical equipment.
