Phnom Penh (FN), Sept. 6 – New Ambassador to Cambodia Christian Berger and his spouse Maria Berger arrived in Phnom Penh on Friday morning, according a press release issued by Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany on Friday.

"I am delighted to come to Cambodia, a country of such long and rich history. I am looking forward to witnessing the Kingdom's dynamic development. Germany and Cambodia are friends. I hope I can contribute to strengthening this friendship", said the Ambassador in the press release.

Ambassador Christian Berger had served as Ambassador to Laos and Vietnam.
