Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 22 - Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen announced to enforce laws against former opposition leader Sam Rainsy, speaking at the CPP Central Committee Meeting, held Thursday at Diamond Island.

“Regarding the repatriation of Sam Rainsy, it is not an individual issue of Rainsy, yet it is our duty to enforce the laws to strengthen political stability and the happiness of our people; and to prevent the reoccurrence of color revolution like what happened in 2013,” CPP spokesman Chhim Phal Virun quoted the premier.

Prime Minister Hun Sen firmly commits to resolutely uphold a policy of permanent neutrality and non-alignment; to preserve and defend the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Cambodia; and to ensure national unity, and protect the good mores and custom of the nation, as stipulated in the constitution, according to the spokesman.
