Phnom Penh (FN), July 1 - Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen announced to build a five-storey building with 50 rooms for Krousar Thmey Foundation to ensure that the disabled and deaf people can pursue higher education.

The statement was made Monday, 1 July, at the meeting with members and staff of Krousar Thmey Foundation in Phnom Penh.

"As the Ministry of Education has not had the building for the National Institute of Special Education, I decided to fund a five-storey building with 50 rooms to ensure that our disabled children have access to good education and health” said Prime Minister Hun Sen.

Krousar Tmey Foundation, established in 1991, is the first Cambodian Foundation helping disadvantaged children, building a world in which children are empowered to grow into independent and responsible adults.
