Sihanoukville (FN), June 25 - Sihanoukville first court, on Tuesday, ordered to detain four Chinese connecting to the collapse building in the west coast of Cambodia, approximately 230 km west of the capital Phnom Penh.

The four includes: Cheng Kun, 39, owner of the building; Deng Xin Gul, 48, head of the construction project; Gao Yu, 29, contractor; and Xie Ya Ping, project supervisor.

They are allegedly charged with “unintentional murder”.

A seven-storey building, completed about 80 per cent, collapsed at about 5 a.m in the morning of Saturday, 22 June.

The 60-hour search operation for victims of the collapse building ended at 7:30 p.m on Monday, 24 June.

Authority found 28 bodies of construction workers, four females, dead; and 26 others, two females, severely injured.
