Phnom Penh (FN), May 19 – Cambodia’s song rapper Chhun Dymey, also known as Dymey-Cambo, condemned exiled former opposition leader Sam Rainsy for violating his rights, speaking in an interview with Cambodian Youth Party president Pich Sros in Siem Reap on Sunday.

Sam Rainsy, on 7 May 2019, posted Chhun Dymey’s popular song entitled “Sangkum Nis”, translated as “This Society” without proper authorization that Dymey thought would likely plunge him into trouble.

Dymey, on Sunday,condemned Sam Rainsy for posting his song without proper authorization. He urged Rainsy to remove his song from Rainsy’s Facebook page.

Dymey underlined that he is not supporting the dissolved Cambodia National Rescue Party, nor the individual Sam Rainsy.

Dymey declared publicly that he is not an activist of any political party.
