Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 15 - General Department of Customs in collaboration with the US Embassy in Phnom Penh cracked down 1,026 pieces of elephant ivory tusks weighed over three tons at the Phnom Penh Autonomous Port hidden in Container since July 2018, according to Sun Chhay, head of the customs department at the Autonomous Port.

Sun Chhay confirmed that the 1,026 ivory tusks were exported from a port called "Malacca" in Mozambique to Phnom Penh Autonomous Port but no one knows the delivery destination.

Currently, these ivory tusks are temporarily kept at the Phnom Penh Autonomous Port for further actions.
