Sihanoukville (FN), Jul. 23 – Cambodian Ministry of Health, on Saturday, announced that they have not found a Nigerian man, who detected Monkeypox.

Sihanoukville provincial governor Kouch Chamroeun learnt that the Nigerian escaped to the province.

"So far we have not found the infected Nigerian man," Health Ministry’s secretary of state Youk Sambath underlined.

"The Department of Tourism, the Department of Labor and parties concerned learnt about the news that the guy [Nigerian] has arrived in Sihanoukville, so please pay high attention and immediately report to the health department as soon as possible," according to Kouch Chamroeun.

On 18 July 2022, Thailand announced the first case of Monkeypox on a 27-year-old Nigerian man, who allegedly escaped after being informed of positive result.
