MOSCOW, June 6 (TASS) - The decision on potential cementing of the agreement on food security at the level of Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan will be made after the talks of the Foreign Ministers of these two countries, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS Monday.

"The decision will be made after the talks of the [Foreign] Ministers," Peskov said, commenting on Russian Foreign Minister’s remark that the final decision is up to the leaders to make.

Earlier on Monday, Lavrov said that Russian specialist will depart to Turkiye on June 6 to discuss the issues of food shipment. Then, a Foreign Ministry delegation led by Lavrov himself will depart to Ankara for talks on this issue, he said. Lavrov expressed his hope that the sides will be able to "work out in minute details the options, voiced by [Russian] President [Vladimir Putin], which depend solely on those who must work with Ukraine, force it to ensure demining of its ports, and who have to withdraw all obstructions to delivery, insurance and maintenance of ships that will deliver grain and other food products to European ports, and from there - to ports of developing countries.".
