NEW DELHI/DUBAI, April 21 (CGTN) - A free trade agreement between the United Arab Emirates and India will come into effect on May 1, 2022, according to a tweet from UAE's foreign trade minister.

"#IndiaUAECEPA comes into effect on May 1, reducing tariffs, removing barriers to trade to helping our exporters access the world's sixth-largest economy," Emirati Minister State for Foreign Trade Thani al-Zeyoudi tweeted.
