SEOUL, Aug. 2 (CGTN) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) fired unidentified projectiles from its east coast Friday morning, the third launch in the past weeks, the Republic of Korea (ROK)'s military said.

The projectiles were fired from Yonghung, South Hamgyong Province at 2:59 a.m. and 3:23 a.m. local time on Friday from DPRK's South Hamgyong Province into the East Sea, according to ROK's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).
