Phnom Penh (FN), July 1 – The first of July marks one month of the Royal Government of Cambodia’s initiative to fund USD 200 to any poor pregnant woman who carries the child below two-year old.

Over one month, at least 18,725 women received the fund from the government, according to statement of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen on Monday, 1 July, at the meeting with members and staff of Krousar Thmey Foundation in Phnom Penh, the first Cambodian Foundation helping disadvantaged children.
