Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 29 - His Excellency Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will lead a delegation to attend and co-chair the 2nd Meeting of Cambodia-Myanmar Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC) from 31 January to 1 February 2019, in Nay Pyi Taw, at the invitation of His Excellency U Kyaw Tin, Union Minister for International Cooperation of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, according to the ministry’s press release dated Tuesday.

​“The 2nd JCBC meeting will assess the results of the past and ongoing cooperation and explore new areas for further cooperation to advance socio-economic progress and prosperity of the two peoples and contribute to peace and development in the region,” the ministry continued.

​“While staying in Nay Pyi Taw, H.E. Deputy Prime Minister will pay separate courtesy calls on H.E. U Win Myint, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and H.E. Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, State Counsellor and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.”
