Phnom Penh (FN), July 7 - Cambodian Prime Minister of Cambodia Hun Sen said Saturday morning that the new government, under Cambodian People's Party (CPP), would pay salaries to officials and the armed forces in every two weeks, addressing to more than 60,000 members at Diamond Island Exhibition and Convention Center, Phnom Penh.

“The 6th mandate of the National Assembly, led by the ruling government with myself as the Prime Minister, will pay salary regularly for civil servants and the armed forces, as well as pensioners and veterans through a bank regularly for every two weeks to serve the needs of the people," stated the premier.

He added that this is another important step in the Royal Government's payment reforms to ensure that all civil servants, armed forces and veterans receive their continuous increased salaries and pensions.
