Phnom Penh (FN), May 9 – U.S Ambassador to Cambodia William A. Heidt said that the real estate in Cambodia has grown gradually and that it has attracted more investment and businesses to boost the Kingdom’s economy, speaking on Wednesday at the Grand Opening of the Chem-Dry Cambodia Company, an American-Cambodian company.

The ambassador stated that Cambodia’s economy is growing, particularly thanks to tourism and real estate sectors as seen with approximately 20,000 condominium units in Phnom Penh and 20 of over-twenty-storey buildings in Sihanuokville.

Ambassador added that the booming of real estate paves way for clean-up companies to invest in Cambodia that will create employments for people.

General Manager of Chem-Dry Cambodia Soa Sokny said that the company is the world's leading carpet cleaner, also offering cleaning of upholstery, tile and grout, and area rugs with over 3,500 licensed distributors in more than 55 countries worldwide. Over the past 40 years, Chem-Dry has served more than 10,000 houses.
