Phnom Penh (FN), March 3 - Cambodia People’s Party (CPP) won all of the 58 Senate seats, according to the National Election Committee’s official result released on Saturday.

According to the law, 58 senators were chosen by 11,695 voters comprising members of the National Assembly and commune councilors, while two will be appointed by King Norodom Sihamoni and another two will represent the lower house.

Four parties, including the ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), FUNCINPEC party, Cambodian Youth Party (CYP), and Khmer National United Party (KNUP) were competing in the election last Sunday.
