Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 18 – Following Prime Minister Hun Sen’s announcement that the upcoming elections are not subject to changes, the Cambodian Youth Party (CYP) has announced that they are ready to participate in the Senate and the National Assembly members elections in 2018, Pich Sros, President of CYP, told on Thursday.

"As a player, I would like to announce that I will continue to compete as long as the organizing committee continues the competition and stands on fairness. In this regard, CYP is ready to compete in the upcoming elections”, stated Pich Sros.

He added that in the National Assembly Election, the youth party will submit its nomination to at least five constituencies across the country, including Phnom Penh, Tbong Khmum, Kampong Speu, Kandal and Battambang.

Senate Election will be held on February 25, 2018 and the National Assembly Election on July 29, 2018.
