Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 17 – Okhna Hong Piv, CEO of Piphup Tmeii Group, has continued to donate a great amount of $2.1 million to Kantha Bopha Children's Hospital to save the lives of children in Cambodia for 2018.

Hong Piv donated the amount directly to the president of Kantha Bopha Children's Hospital on Wednesday morning.

This is the third time that Hong Piv and his family have donated to Kantha Bopha Children's Hospital. In 2016, he donated $1 million, $2 million in 2017, and $2.1 million in 2018 respectively.

Kantha Bopha Children's Hospital consists of five branches; four in Phnom Penh and one in Siem Reap. Every day, Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospital treats 1,600 to 2,000 Cambodian children without any charge.

Hong Piv has also supported other charities in Cambodia, and he has received great support from the public for his generosity.

On May 2016, he provided a $360,000 grant to help build the Royal Gendarmerie hHeadquarter. On May 8, 2016, he donated $1.28 million to the Red Cross. On June 21, 2016, he granted $200,000 to build houses for 345 former armed forces.

On September 23, 2016, he distributed 380 tons of fragrant rice, worth over $200,000 to employees in the rice company.

On October 8, 2016, on his daughter’s birthday, Hong Piv met with Prince Norodom Sihamoni and donated $100,000 and 600 tons of rice, worth of more than $320,000, to distribute to people in rural areas.

On October 13, 2016, Hong Piv helped a blind girl to Singapore for medical treatment.
