Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 9 – Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MoWRM), on Monday, issued a notice that the third extreme cold will last from Jan. 10-15, 2018 in Dangrek Mountain, north of Cambodia.

The ministry stressed that the extreme cold was caused by the influence of northeastern monsoon wind from China. The temperature will decrease to 14 degree Celsius.

According to the notice, besides Dangrek Mountain, a number of provinces such as Mundulkiri, Ratanakiri, Steoung Treng, Oddor Meanchey, Preah Vihear and Pailin will experience 16-18 degree Celsius, except for the coastal provinces, which will be around 23-24 degree Celsius.
