Svay Rieng (FN), October 9 - Heng Ratana, Director General of Cambodia Mine Action Center (CMAC), reported to Fresh News earlier today that CMAC and the Ministry of Defense have found seven more chemical bombs dropped by the United States during the Vietnam War located in Romeas Hek Village, Koki Commune, Svay Rieng Province.

At least, three villagers have been affected by the bombs.

The chemical officials and those from CMAC has been paying close attention to detect and to remove the bombs in Svay Rieng province.

CMAC officials were collecting information at the new founded bombsite.

On the 4th of October, CMAC and the Ministry of Defense also found two chemical bombs around Wat Koki and Koki Secondary School areas located in Romeas Hek Village, Koki Commune, Svay Rieng Province.

“The first one has been removed successfully. They are working on the second bomb,” reported Heng Ratana.
