Phnom Penh (FN), September 27- Prime Minister Hun Sen of Cambodia recommended Phnom Penh Governor to increase the number of public buses in Phnom Penh to ease the free travel of factory workers.

The recommendation was made on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Hun Sen indicated that many laborers, students, teachers, disabled and elderly people access buses, hence, lifting the number of buses up will help to fasten the ride.

We will further increase the number of buses for users in Phnom Penh to reduce the costs spending on transportation, according to Prime Minister Hun Sen.

To help improve the lives of Cambodian workers, the premier has decided to offer a free public ride to laborers and workers from all sectors in Phnom Penh starting from August 20th, 2017 to August 20th, 2019.

After the two years of free ride, the premier suggested that people can still continue to use public bus, but waiting for official announcement to be made.
