Phnom Penh (FN), September 14 - Chinese investment had a total of US $ 16.2 billion, of which investment in Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone has a total of 110 projects totaling US $ 310 million and generating about 16,180 jobs, according to the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).

The press conference on the China-Cambodia Forum on Productivity Capacity and Investment Cooperation, held at Nanning Wanda Wenhua Hotel in Nanning, Guangxi, on Thursday morning.

Speaking at a forum of China-Cambodia cooperation, Sok Chenda Sophea, Secretary General of CDC said that this forum provide additional opportunities in exploring the potential trade and investment, as well as strengthening cooperation capacity.

The two governments have worked to promote bilateral cooperation to a higher level, "Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Cooperation", which will play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation of the 2015-2025 Cambodian Industrial Development Policy (IDP).

Ning Jizhe, vice-chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission of China, highlighted the cooperation with the use of facilitative mechanisms, bilateral dialogue, exchange visits, and key dialogue and prioritized projects to address existing investment projects.
