Siem Reap (FN), September 11 - The Anti-Crime Bureau, in collaboration with the Siem Reap police forces and the Director of Provincial Health, is currently conducting an investigation into the detention of Venezuelan, Flores Gonzalez Yosbeilys Katerine, for international drug trafficking.

The police confiscated 104 cocaine pellets from Flores weighing about one kilogram in total.

“The operation was conducted in compliance with the Government's 2nd campaign against illegal drugs under the commandments from Neth Savoeun, National Police Chief”, stated Oum Amara, Siem Reap deputy police chief.

"The seizure was made Sunday night and involves international drug trafficking from Brazil to Cambodia via Dubai and Bangkok.

The suspect arrived on flight PG 913 at Siem Reap International Airport. We arrested the suspects at the arrival point," he added.

The suspect has allegedly been involved in drug trafficking since the age of 16. She is being questioned for further legal action.
