Phnom Penh (FN), August 16 - A coordinated effort between local authorities and the Counter-terrorism and Transnational Crime Cabinet has netted a group of 225 Chinese nationals involved in cybercrime.

The crackdown took place in a condo in Phnom Penh's Boeung Kok II, Khan Toul Kork.

“225 Chinese were involved in and arrested for cybercriminal activities on the Internet,” reported General Y Sok Khy.

The police obtained evidence used by the criminals at the scene.
