Phnom Penh (FN), August 11 - National Election Committee (NEC)’s spokesman, Hang Puthea, confirmed that there will be no establishment of the Overseas Voter Registration Office.

The reiteration was made on Thursday during the workshop on voting lists and observatory research auditing at Phnom Penh Hotel, co-organized by NEC and IFES.

Several CSOs have asked the NEC to set up a polling station abroad so that Cambodian workers could register to vote; however, NEC denied based on the election law.
