Phnom Penh (FN), August 11 – Prime Minister Hun Sen on Friday warned Laotian Prime Minister to withdraw troops from Cambodia within 6 days by August 17.

The announcement was made after Thongloun Sisoulith, Prime Minister of Laos, did not response PM Hun Sen’s letter, regarding the withdrawal. The premier also plans to fly to Laos to discuss this matter.

He appealed to Cambodians not to be surprised when seeing soldiers moving to Stung Treng.

The premier told Lao PDR that friend is friend, but friend shall not invade friend. He ordered Cambodian commanders to be prepared for the operation.

The premier added that he does not want to declare war with neighboring countries, but not allow them to violate Cambodia's sovereignty.
