Phnom Penh (FN), June 25 - The Cambodian People's Party released a statement to accept official Commune Council Election result released on Sunday by the National Election Committee.

"The fourth-term communal elections held on 4 June 2017 were successfully proceeded in conformity with the Constitution and legislation of the Kingdom of Cambodia. In an environment full of neutrality, freedom, and peace, as master of their nation, the Cambodian eligible voters implemented their rights and obligation by going to vote in large number in every polling stations to choose their respective commune councilors whom they trusted to lead their community for the next five years 2017 through to 2022," according to the CPP's Statement released following the election result.

"CPP solemnly declares its acceptance of the official result of the fourth-term communal council elections from a free, fair, and just election," the statement added.
