Phnom Penh (FN), June 19 – National Democratic Institute (NDI)’s Confidential Document entitled Cambodia’s Country Direction and the Current Opinion revealed the findings and methodology in Cambodia Public Opinion Survey, according to Facebook “Seyha” on Monday.

The pollster found out that the public supported the government led by the PM Hun Sen’s Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) has increased from 55% to 58% while those who opposed the premier’s leadership has decreased from 43% to 41%.

“The margin of error is +/-2.2 per cent, 95% of confident level with response rate of 87.6% using face-to-face interview method,” according to the leaked official data of NDI dated March 2017.

“Data analysis performed by NDI and US Pollster,” it added.

NDI is funded by United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
