Phnom Penh (FN), May 16 – Eh Phou Thang, a national boxing coach and the ex-champion of Khmer Boxing will do his gloves once more to support Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospital (KBCH).

The fight between Thai boxer and Eh Phou Thong is scheduled for June 4, 2017.

Eh Phou Thong decided to re-enter the ring after his nephews took ill. They are being treated at KBCH.

He also appealed to donors to assist in this humanitarian act as well.

“I have been hoping to help Kantha Bopha for awhile but I had no chance. This time, I am going to donate the money I earn and sponsor the hospital,” said the former King of Khmer Boxer.

“Other than boxing, I have nothing to help poor kids. If you want to join this humanitarian work, you can contact PNN Television,” he added.

Eh Pou Thong is selected as the coach of the national boxing team.

They are scheduled to compete in the 29th SEA Games in Malaysia in August 2017.

He has always participated in humanitarian work, and has been a proponent of blood donation and aiding unfortunate children.
