Phnom Penh (FN), May 3 - A South African man has been arrested and charged for transporting illegal drugs worth of $150,000.

According to the Phnom Penh Municipal Court, verdict is being sentenced for life and fined $10,000

Botha Jacobus Daie, 30, had been arrested since September 23, 2016 at the Phnom Penh International Airport.

Cambodian authorities seized 42 packages of cocaine weighs 587 grams, which was originally imported from Brazil.

The criminal admitted that he had been hired by a Ghana man for $7,000 to carry drugs to Cambodia.
