Phnom Penh (FN), April 21 – The Ministry of Environment informed that Nuclear Information Center will be established at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC), which is supported by Russia President Vladimir Putin.

The 4th National Meeting of the National Working Group facilitates cooperation between Cambodia and Russia to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes was organized at the Ministry of Environment recently to discuss a number of issues in the field of nuclear cooperation between Cambodia and Russia.

The meeting also discussed the topics for the Nuclear Information Center in Phnom Penh.

They prepared to meet and talk with Russia on April 27, 2017, and discussed scholarships to students studying nuclear technology in the Russian Federation.

The meeting agreed to choose three topics for the Nuclear Energy Information Center, including science nuclear power, production of electricity using nuclear power plants and the use of nuclear technology in different areas.
