Oddar Meanchey (FN), March 7 - Approximately 10 to 15 Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) members are reportedly removing all CNRP banners in Anlong Veng district, Oddar Meanchey province.

The protest is due to the CNRP's failure to address rampant corruption and nepotism in the area.

The activists claim that CNRP's leaders are removing Sam Rainsy's hard-working supporters and adding Kem Sokha's backers instead.

The activists demonstrated under slogans and banners. The messages promised the end of the CNRP in the district if Kem Sokha refuses to solve their issues.

The district's governor said that because these conflicts are within the CNRP he is unable to step in and resolve the issues.

He further stated that if CNRP members wished to join the CPP (Cambodian People's Party) they would be welcomed any time.
