Phnom Penh (FN), Mar 1 - Alexander Ky, Vice President of Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) in the U.S. state of California, resigned from his office on February 28 after accusing his superiors at the CNRP of nepotism.

Alexander sent his letter of resignation to Kem Sokha, acting President of the CNRP.

He stated in the letter that "Over the past four years I have worked in the CNRP because I loved the party’s political path, but a minority of the officials are now corrupted with nepotism. They are not happy with me, and I could see that this political party does not fit my values anymore.”
