Phnom Penh, Jan. 14, - Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, on Saturday, hosted an event for more than 1,000 journalists, including more than a dozen of foreign reporters, in Phnom Penh.

Spending more than one-hour speaking at the meeting, Hun Sen said he came to the forum to frankly discuss on what he has learned and observed the media.

Hun Sen assured journalists that he came to the forum not to restrict freedom of expression but to assure more freedom.

The prime minster assured the forum before concluding his speech that he will host the meeting annually and include more journalists even up to 3,000 starting from next year, regardless of whether they are pro the ruling party or the opposition party.
