Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 23 – The Royal Government of Cambodia decided to lift the temporary suspension of direct flights from Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, according to Health Ministry’s press release seen by Fresh News on Saturday.

The decision came after Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen, on 22 October 2021, advised relevant ministries and institutions to review the possibility of resuming flights with some ASEAN member countries.

On 16 October, Cambodian Health Ministry announced new quarantine measures for Cambodian or international travelers. Cambodian and foreign investors, technical staffs, officers in charge of official development projects, diplomats, and government officials (including their family members) returning to Cambodia upon completing mission abroad will need to quarantine for only 3 days. Cambodian and foreign travelers in general will need to quarantine for seven days; those who have not yet fully vaccinated will quarantine for 14 days.
