PHNOM PENH (FN), September, 5 – While strongly condemning the criminal act, Prime Minister Hun Sen today also expressed deep condolences to families of the victims of a bomb blast in a night market in Davao, the Philippines, that killed 14 people and wounded over 60 others on September, 2, 2016.

“While vehemently condemning this act of heinous crime, on behalf of the Royal Government of Cambodia, allow me to convey to Your Excellency and through Your Excellency to the Government and the people of the Republic of Philippines as well as the bereaved families, my deepest sympathy and profound condolences for such a loss in this horrifying explosion,” said Prime Minister Hun Sen in a letter available to Fresh News today.

A bomb exploded on September, 2, 2016 in Roxas street of Davao, Philippines, known as a night market that sells food stuff for visitors and other travellers. It is also the home town of President Rodrigo Duterte that used to be a safest place in the Philippines. The blast killed 14 people and injured more than 60 others.
