Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 26 – Cambodia's Minister of Health Mam Bunheng confirmed on Sunday that no cases of coronavirus reported in the Kingdom.

“No coronavirus found in Cambodia thus far, while the world has not found the cures for the virus yet,” Minister Bunheng told CEO of Fresh News on 26 January 2020.

The minister urged all of Cambodian people to stay away from ill or dead livestock, and to stay away from the seafood market [Huanan], farms that sell live animals or wildlife, and other places where cases of the virus have been reported.

“Avoid contact with infected people,” Minister Bunheng warned, adding that “cleaning hands with soaps frequently is a good preventive measure.”

The Ministry of Health and relevant authority have paid close attention and increased measures at airports and border crossings to ensure the safety for all Cambodians.
