US (FN), Jan 13 - Kok Ksor, the Vietnamese leader of the Degar indigenous group in the central part of Vietnam, died in North Carolina, United States recently, according to former opposition leader in exile Sam Rainsy’s Twitter.

Sam Rainsy admitted on 7 March 2018 in an interview with the Phnom Penh Post that he had indeed signed an agreement in 2013 to hand over four Cambodia’s provinces, including Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, Kratie, Stung Treng to Kok Ksor.

Investigating judge of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court (PPMC) Ros Piseth had ordered Sam Rainsy, a founder of Cambodia National Rescue Movement (CNRM), to appear at the court on 13 August 2018, for attempting to hand over Cambodian territory to foreigner, a violation of Cambodia’s Penal Code.
