Phnom Penh (FN), June 10 – Vietnam’s new Head of State Tran Dai Quang is scheduled to pay a visit to Cambodia next week, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Mr. Tran Dai Quang will spend two days, June 15-16 2016 to visit Cambodia at the invitation of His Majesty the King.

During the visit, Mr. Dai Quang is scheduled to call on His Majesty the King; the Senate President Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum; National Assembly President Samdech Moha Ponhea Chakrey Heng Samrin and Prime Minister Samdech Akak Mohasenapadei Decho Hun Sen. He will also call on the Supreme Buddhist Patriarchs Tep Vong and Bou Kry respectively.

Mr. Tran Dai Quang was elected as Vietnam’s new president to replace Mr. Truong Tan Sang in April 2016. Prior to his election, Mr. Tran Dai Quang served as Minister of Public Security, a position he had held since 2011.
