Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 30 - During an official visit of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen to Nepal, Cambodia-Nepal will sign agreement on the cooperation on civil aviation that will lead to launching direct flight between the countries, delegate minister Kao Kim Hourn told Fresh News on Friday.

Prime Minister Hun Sen informed Nepalese President Bidhya Devi Bhandari that he has always wished to pay official visit to Nepal and that the direct flight agreement will strengthen people-to-people exchanges of the two countries.

Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia is leading a high delegation to pay an official visit to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal on 29-30 November 2018 and to attend the “Asia-Pacific Summit 2018-Nepal” in Kathmandu on 30 November-02 December 2018, according to the ministry’s press release dated on 26 November.

According to the schedule, the premier will pay a courtesy call on Her Excellency Bidya Devi Bhandari, President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, and hold bilateral talks with His Excellency Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli, Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. Thereafter, the two leaders will preside over the signing ceremony of a number of documents on bilateral cooperation.

​At the Asia Pacific Summit 2018-Nepal, Prime Minister will make a keynote address on the theme of the Asia Pacific 2018-Nepal “ Addressing the Critical Challenges of Our Time: Interdependence, Mutual Prosperity and Universal Values”. He will also take the opportunity to visit the Patan Durbar Square which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
