Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 27 - Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen announced Tuesday that he will no longer reply to the statements or comments of former opposition leader Sam Rainsy.

The premier considered Sam Rainsy “useless”, addressing at the 4th General Assembly of Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia, held at Sokha Hotel Phnom Penh.

The Strongman of Cambodia urged government officials and CPP supporters not to be concerned with the oppositions, but respect the interests of citizens.

“It is not strange for the opposition group to oppose,” the premier said.

The Strongman also urged youth to contribute to protecting peace and political stability and preventing color revolution in Cambodia; and call on youth to continue to work together to support socio-economic development.

Most importantly, “never trade aids with sovereignty,” he underlined.
